This summer, our PhD student, Toey, had a great opportunity to spend seven weeks as a visiting researcher at the Department of Action and Automation Psychology, Technical University Berlin (TU Berlin) in Germany.
During her visit, she planned a research study in collaboration with Dr. Linda Onnasch and Dr. Tobias Rieger, to investigate the effectiveness of AI Explainability in enhancing appropriate dependence on AI, particularly in the context of LLM. Apart from this, Toey also had the chance to join stimulating discussions about ongoing research projects at TU Berlin and exchange ideas with team members. She is very excited to share her experience with the other HAC lab members and to begin data collection for this collaborative study when she returns to the U.S. in Fall!
